Larry Prout Jr., the new signee, suffers from spina bifida, short gut symdrome and several other ailments. However, he’s persevered throughout and is a diehard Michigan fan to boot.
He signed his papers with quarterback John O’Korn, head coach Jim Harbaugh and several other Wolverines in attendance. The ceremony is part of an initiative called Team Impact, which partners college programs with kids battling chronic illnesses.
So far, Michigan is undefeated at the Big House with Prout in attendance. Look for him to run out of the tunnel with the team later this season.
