Charles Woodson won't be stepping far from football now that the Michigan Wolverines and NFL legend is retired. The Big Lead is reporting that Woodson has agreed to join ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown show next fall.
The four-letter network hasn't confirmed the news yet but is expected to later this month. Woodson will replace the departing Keyshawn Johnson and will be joined on the show by Chris Berman, Tom Jackson, Cris Carter and Mike Ditka.
After winning a Heisman Trophy, National Title, Super Bowl and NFL Defensive Player of the Year during the last 21 seasons, Woodson should have more than a little to offer when it comes to talking football.
