Michigan Football's Season Opener vs. Hawaii Set for Noon Kickoff

Michigan football's season opener against Hawaii at the Big House on Sept. 3 has been scheduled as a noon kickoff, U-M, the Big Ten and ESPN announced on Tuesday afternoon.

The Wolverines and Warriors, who will be making their first trip to Ann Arbor ever, have met two times previously. Both matchups occurred at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii and were 27-10 and 48-17 victories by Michigan in 1986 and 1998, respectively.

In the U-M release from Tuesday, it says that the start time and television broadcast information for the remaining non-conference games will be announced later on, so stay tuned for that information.
