Michigan football is the fourth-ranked team in the country following wins over Hawaii, UCF, Colorado and Penn State to start the season.

Coming into this year, the Wolverines were seen as a College Football Playoff contender and nothing we have seen so far would suggest otherwise.

It is never too early to look at postseason destinations, so here are some of the most notable outlets and where they think the Wolverines will end up at the end of the regular season:

SB Nation: Fiesta Bowl (CFP semifinal) vs. Louisville on Dec. 31

Sports Illustrated: Rose Bowl vs. Washington on Jan. 2

Mark Schlabach, ESPN: Peach Bowl (CFP semifinal) vs. Alabama on Dec. 31

Brett McMurphy, ESPN: Rose Bowl vs. Washington on Jan. 2

Fox Sports: Rose Bowl vs. Washington on Jan. 2

CBS Sports: Outback Bowl vs. Ole Miss on Jan. 2

Michigan takes on a top-ten team in Wisconsin on Saturday, so they have a shot to turn even more heads nationwide with a statement win this week.
