Michigan fell to 5-2 (2-2 B1G) on Saturday night after suffering a 42-13 loss at Penn State on Saturday night.
The Wolverines were punched in the mouth early on, going down by a score of 14-0 on two Saquon Barkley touchdown runs. Michigan would fight back to trim the lead to 14-13, but Trace McSorley would put the Nittany Lions up 21-13 on a touchdown run shortly before the half.
McSorley added another in the third quarter to put Penn State up 28-13 over the Wolverines.
Penn State continued to pour it on in the fourth quarter on a long touchdown reception that was bobbled and caught by Barkley, while McSorley added another rush to put them up 42-13.
Michigan is back in action next week at home when they welcome Rutgers to Michigan Stadium.
We will have more on this game in the takeaways.
