The former four-star recruit is moving on.

Michigan tight end Devin Asiasi is transferring out of the program, head coach Jim Harbaugh confirmed to the media on Tuesday evening.

Rumors had been swirling on the Asiasi front since the end of the regular season, with reports indicating that he would be transferring out of the program to be closer to his family in California.

It is a definite blow to the Wolverines, who saw him play a role on offense early on in 2016 as a true freshman and he was expected to see a huge increase in playing time next year with Jake Butt graduating from the program.

Asiasi had two catches for 18 yards and one touchdown in his lone season with the program.
