While we are still a few months away from the football season kickoff, it may seem early to make predictions for the upcoming college football games.

For Las Vegas, it couldn’t come soon enough.

The South Pointe Hotel, Casino and Spa has already realeased lines for the week one games and the games that annually have big implications on the rankings and television numbers.

Several of these games include Michigan, starting with their season opener in Arlington, Texas (3:30 p.m., ABC) against Florida as three-point favorites.

In the Big Ten Conference, they weren't as kind. While Michigan is a 15 point favorite on its in-state rival Michigan State, they are 14 point underdogs against Penn State and eight point underdogs against Ohio State.

Michigan has lost five-straight contests against the Buckeyes, including last seasons 30-27 double-overtime heartbreaker this past Novermeber in Columbus.

Michigan has defeated Penn State the past three seasons, including a 49-10 route of the Nitty Lions last season.

Here's a quick look back at the early predicitions from Vegas:

•vs Florida (Arlington, Texas) September 2: Michigan -3

•vs MSU, October 7: Michigan -15

•at Penn State, October 21: Penn State -14

•vs Ohio State, November 25: Ohio State -8
