Michigan lost its starting quarterback early against the Boilermakers.

Wilton Speight was injured in the first quarter of the game against the Purdue Boilermakers after a third-down sack and late hit.

He was down on the field for a few minutes before heading straight to the locker room. John O’Korn replaced him at quarterback.
