Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh spoke to the media on Monday and answered questions about the Rutgers game, the games against Indiana on Saturday, while also giving a few injury updates.

  • Lavert Hill is still being evaluated under concussion protocol
  • Said QB Shea Patterson makes good decisions, throws accurate balls, sees the field really well. “There’s not a lot of times where it could have been intercepted.”
  • Said DL Rashan Gary was named defensive lineman of the week
  • Said that LB coach Al Washington contributions have been huge, “high energy coach, does a great job in recruiting”
  • “His level of blocking (TE Sean McKeon) is so high right now.”
  • “Gentry of course is playing well, Nick Eubanks, what a difference from last year”
  • “Two rising stars in the profession (Al Washington and TE coach Sherrone Moore)
  • “I feel like its really come together (Michigan offensive line”
  • “The biggest thing is the way they catch the ball, all pass-receivers, still the amount of drops is so low on the year.”
  • “The separation they’ve gotten in the passing game, the precision in which they’ve ran their routes, have been really good”
  • Said that the blocking of the wide receiver unit has been really good
