Michigan safety Josh Metellus spoke to the media after Michigan’s 31-20 win over the Indiana Hoosiers.
A big topic of conversation was the injury defensive end Chase Winovich suffered, which knocked him out of the game. Winovich was down on the field for a while before he walked off the field.
It looked bad, but Metellus is confident that won’t be the last you see of Winovich, in fact, Metellus thinks you’ll see him next week.
“Yeah, Chase is a tough guy, a real tough guy. He walked off the field, so I think he’s gonna be there next week (versus Ohio State).

Jim Harbaugh said at his post-game presser that Winovich’s cat-scan and X-Ray both came back negative and that things are progressing well, although he didn’t want to specify what body part was injured.
