Linebacker Devin Bush is a finalist for the Butkus Award, presented to the nation’s top linebacker.

On Monday, a list of five finalists was released and Bush was the lone representative from the Big Ten.

Bush made the final cut for the second straight year. He lost to Georgia’s Roquan Smith, who currently starts for the Chicago Bears.

The 5-foot-11 dynamo from Pembroke Pines, Fla. is the team leader in tackles, registering 72 stops on the year. He’s also notched 9.5 tackles for loss and five sacks in 11 games for the Wolverines.

He tallied a season-high 11 stops with 1.5 tackles for loss this past weekend against Indiana.

The winner will be announced at ESPN Home Depot College Football Awards Show on Dec. 6 in Atlanta.
