Winovich was injured in the third quarter last week at the Big House against Indiana. He was taken to the locker room and did not return to that game.
It was speculated he would play, as he posted this on his Instagram story Friday night:

Obviously, this is huge for Michigan. Winovich is a leader, even though he isn’t deemed a “captain.” He embodies what it means to be a Michigan Wolverine. He arguably cares about this team and program more than any other player. His presence will be felt, both on the field and on the sidelines.
Go get em, Chase.
