Things haven’t gone well for Michigan in Columbus, Ohio against the Buckeyes. And with 10:14 left in the fourth quarter with U-M trailing 48-25 quarterback Shea Patterson was injured.
On the play, Patterson’s facemask was grabbed by defensive end Jonathon Cooper. Patterson was down on the field for over two minutes before walking off slowly. It looked like Patterson landed hard onto the turf after the facemask.
Brandon Peters came in to relieve Patterson.
Update: Patterson just missed the rest of the drive he was injured on, he came back in the following possession.
Update No. 2: Patterson came in for just one play before being relieved by Joe Milton
