Michigan sophomore running back O’Maury Samuels has been dismissed from the program, U-M spokesperson David Ablauf announced Wednesday.
The reason the program dismissed Samuels was not given by Ablauf, but The Michigan Insider’s Zach Shaw is reporting Samuels is being charged with domestic violence and malicious destruction of personal property.
According to Ann Arbor 15th District Court records, Michigan sophomore running back O'Maury Samuels is being charged with one count of Domestic Violence and two counts of Malicious Destruction of Personal Property under $200.

Offenses were committed December 8, 2018.
The former 4-star running back from New Mexico never got much action with the Wolverines. He ran for just 13 yards his freshman season and 66 yards in 2018.
One can assume junior Tru Wilson and true freshman Christian Turner will get the backup carries in the Peach Bowl, but some of that depends on if Karan Higdon decides to play or not.
Incoming 4-star running back Zach Charbonnet will likely also contribute in 2019.
