Predictions for 2018 Michigan Football Awards Show

Who will win most improved player? Rookie of the year? MVP? Here are my predictions.

The 2018 Michigan Football Awards Show is Sunday. In case you aren’t familiar with what this is, it is a chance to recognize the seniors and present players with individual awards.

There are 15 awards to be handed out, and I thought it’d be fun to run through and see who I think will win each award. You can play along, too, in the comments section.

Disclaimer: I did not include the two awards focused on GPA.

Scout Team Players of the Year

Most Improved Players of the Year

Richard Katcher Award (Best DL/OLB): DL Chase Winovich

Hugh Raeder Award (Best OL): LT Jon Runyan Jr.

Toughest Player of the Year Award: DL Rashan Gary

Blue Collar Award for Hardest Worker: WR Tarik Black

Rookie of the Year: WR Ronnie Bell

Special Teams Player of the Year: P Will Hart

Offensive Player of the Year: RB Karan Higdon

Defensive Player of the Year: LB Devin Bush

Bo Schembechler Most Valuable Player of the Year: QB Shea Patterson
