I’m happy to announce that I will be playing my last year of eligibility at Western Michigan… https://t.co/GUNjK1Y17e

Michigan wide receiver Drake Harris, a fourth-year junior, announced his transfer to Western Michigan of the Mid-American Conference on Saturday.
Harris, a former four-star prospect from Grand Rapids, never really rounded into the player he was expected to be at Michigan after being one of only 12 players nationally to surpass 2,000-yards in high school.
In 2014, entering Michigan as a true freshman, Harris came in with a lingering hamstring injury that plagued the rest of his time in Ann Arbor. As a result Harris was pushed further down the depth chart and was never really able to find his footing in the Michigan offense.
This past season, he tried both wide receiver and cornerback in a reserve role.
Right before the game with Indiana this past season, he switched back to wide receiver and only played a handful of snaps the rest of the year.
Harris leaves Michigan having hauled in eight-career receptions for 50 yards.
