It’s another college football game day!

Nebraska heading to the Big House for a noon kickoff at the end of September would have been College Gameday material back in the 90s. Instead it’s two famous alumni leading a pair of teams that are still looking for their identities.

Let’s go.

GAME INFO

Teams: Nebraska Cornhuskers (0-2) @ No. 19 Michigan Wolverines (2-1)

Date: Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018

Location: Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Kickoff: Noon EST

Television: FS1 (Fox Sports Go! link here)

Radio: Michigan/IMG Sports Network (for a list of affiliates, click here)

Spread: Michigan -18; O/U 50

Today’s question: Does Michigan lean on the pass with a beat up back field? Chris Evans and Karan Higdon are both expected to be available, but with dates against Michigan State and Wisconsin creeping closer, do you really want to run them down now?

Michigan needs to continue to show consistency in the passing game — which is starting to show real signs of life — to keep good teams honest. Nebraska has a really good defensive line, and the Wolverines could benefit from some early quick rhythm throws to their athletes.

Patterson has thrown for three touchdowns in consecutive games. Let’s see if that continues.
