Michigan looked dominant over the weekend, thrashing Nebraska 56-10.

The game had exciting plays on both sides of the ball for Michigan, with one coming from Donovan Peoples-Jones on this punt return touchdown.

This play helped DPJ earn Big Ten Co-Special Teams Player of the Week honors.

He shared the honors with Matt Coghlin from Michigan State.

Below is the summary from the Big Ten for Peoples-Jones:

  • Scored the second punt return touchdown of his career with a 60-yard score against Nebraska
  • Marked his fourth touchdown overall in the last seven quarters of action
  • Has recorded at least one touchdown in three consecutive games, with five total touchdowns over that stretch
  • Earns his first career Special Teams Player of the Week honor

Peoples-Jones ended the game with one catch for 10 yards, and had three punt returns averaging 25.7 yards and the 60-yard return for a touchdown. This season is starting like many wished it would for the five-star recruit.
