Tom Brady and the New England Patriots just won’t die.
Three losses by a combined 51 points to the Jaguars, Lions and Titans. The Miracle in Miami. The Chargers coming into Foxborough with an undefeated record outside Los Angeles.
Many believed this was the year the dynasty was ending. When will they learn?
The 41-year veteran quarterback eviscerated the visitors 41-28, connecting on 34-of-44 throws for 343 yards and a touchdown. Brady began Sunday’s game hot, completing 23-of-29 passes for 233 yards for a 35-7 halftime lead.

Brady has never lost against Charger quarterback Phillip Rivers, winning all seven matchups (including two playoff games) since 2007.
This is his eighth straight appearance in an AFC Championship Game. He faces the Chiefs’ second-year sensation Patrick Mahomes in Kansas City. The Patriots topped them 43-40 in Week Six.
Brady is searching for his sixth Super Bowl ring.
Other Notes
- Michael Schofield started again at right guard for Los Angeles. The line allowed two sacks, and only helped muster 19 yards on 10 carries.
- Philadelphia defensive end Brandon Graham’s season is over, as the Eagles dropped a 20-14 decision at the New Orleans Saints. Before exiting the postseason, the former first-round draft pick was on a bit of a tear.
He recorded three tackles, sacking Drew Brees once and forcing a fumble.

The week before against the Bears, he notched an additional half-sack. Those were his first quarterback takedowns since Dec. 3.
