Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh will be taking a visit to Texas on Monday, according to Rice grad transfer defensive tackle Zach Abercrumbia.
Maize n Brew spoke with Abercrumbia, who gave some details as to what the visit will entail.
The visit will include some good Texas eats. “Meeting at a bbq restaraunt by my crib,” said Abercrumbia.
Abercrumbia is appreciative that Harbaugh is making the visit to Texas to meet with him. “Anytime a head coach, especially of his caliber comes to see you it’s a big deal, so I’m excited.”
What Abercrumbia is looking forward to about the visit is “to meet him (Harbaugh) and get a feel for his personality.”
It sounds like Michigan is firmly in play for Abercrumbia and that Michigan has a high level of interest in the defensive tackle. Harbaugh doesn’t just visit any grad transfer.
The 6-2 286 lb interior lineman and co-captain recorded 55 tackles (4.5 for loss) in 2018 and was named to the Pro Football Focus All-Conference-USA First-Team Defense. This would be a big get for Michigan.
