Yesterday Michigan defensive line coach Greg Mattison joined the Ohio State Buckeyes staff as their co-defensive coordinator, and for the second day in a row OSU has added a member of the Wolverine coaching staff.
Michigan linebacker coach Al Washington will be joining Ohio State, per multiple reports.
Earlier today The Michigan Insider’s Steve Lorenz reported that recruits haven’t heard back from Washington since yesterday:
“Got word last night that Michigan signees who have been attempting to contact Washington within the last 24 hours have not been hearing back at this point.”
This is a blow to Michigan’s staff, as Washington is a good recruiter and an up and coming coach that has a lot of promise.
We’ll have plenty more news on this development. Stay tuned.
