LIVE DISCUSSION: Michigan vs. Illinois game thread

The Wolverines look to win their third straight game.

NCAA Football: Michigan at Illinois Patrick Gorski-USA TODAY Sports

The Michigan Wolverines look to add to their winning streak today as they take on the Illinois Fighting Illini, or as I like to call them, the Fighting Lovie Smith’s.

Let’s get right to the facts of the game.

Game Info

Teams: No. 16 Michigan Wolverines (4-1) at Illinois Fighting Illini (2-3)

Date: Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019

Location: Memorial Stadium in Champaign, Ill.

Kickoff: Noon EST

Television: ABC

Radio: Michigan/IMG Sports Network (for a list of affiliates, click here)

Spread: Michigan -23; O/U: 49

Today’s question: Can Shea Patterson and company play a relatively clean football game against another bottom-tier Big Ten team? They did so against Rutgers, with the lone turnover on offense not coming on a bad decision (just a little under-thrown to Nico Collins). If they can play a mostly-mistake-free, it would be a big confidence boost ahead of a White Out night game at Penn State.
