Michigan football has a tall task ahead of them with a trip to Penn State against a fringe top 10 team on the road this week and the lights are being made even brighter on the game with ESPN’s College GameDay set to be in Happy Valley for the contest.
The Nittany Lions are sitting at 6-0 after a 17-12 win on the road at Iowa on Saturday night and look to stack up another win against a ranked team to show they might be for real as a Big Ten East contender. Michigan moved to 5-1 on the season with a victory over Illinois and will be looking to shed narratives about itself and how it has performed on the road against elite teams.
Saturday’s game is set for a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff from Beaver Stadium and will be broadcast via ABC. Michigan’s last trip to Happy Valley was also a night game, where the Wolverines lost 42-12 in 2017.
