The last two games against the Irish in Ann Arbor have kicked off at night, so this will be the third edition of the rivalry that takes place under the lights. Michigan and Notre Dame played at night last season in South Bend, as well.
For the Wolverines, it will also be the second night game in a row they play after this weekend at Penn State and the second at home they have played after the opener against Middle Tennessee.
Next Saturday’s game will be broadcast via ABC.
