Michigan is sitting at 5-2 after a loss at Penn State on Saturday night, meaning the Big Ten Championship and trip to the College Football Playoff is essentially out of the question. With it looking like there could potentially be at least another loss or two on the schedule, the latest bowl projections are out for the Wolverines’ potential postseason destination.
Banner Society: Pinstripe Bowl vs. Pittsburgh
247Sports: Gator Bowl vs. Texas A&M
CBS Sports: Holiday Bowl vs. Washington
Action Network: Holiday Bowl vs. Washington
This week’s batch actually has some differences to it. We are still seeing the Holiday Bowl vs. Washington as a popular pick, but two new destinations have emerged with a Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium against the Pitt Panthers, as well as a trip to Jacksonville to take on another preseason hyped team in Texas A&M. That game would be a rematch of Jim Harbaugh matching wits against Jimbo Fisher after they met in the Orange Bowl when he was the head coach at Florida State.
Washington continues to be potentially fascinating seeing as the Wolverines will get them to open the 2020 season.
We will update these as more outlets release theirs throughout the day.
