Michigan football is just about set to get its showdown with No. 8 Notre Dame going from Ann Arbor and it appears a pair of major contributors are set to give it a go on Saturday night. According to the U-M radio broadcast, both tight end Sean McKeon and linebacker Joshua Ross are going to attempt to play in the game.

McKeon did not make the trip to Penn State last week, while Ross has been out since the Wisconsin game with an ankle injury. With rainy conditions set for the entirety of the game, it remains to be seen how much either could play, but they are at least making an effort to get back on the field.

The game between the Wolverines and Irish, the last scheduled matchup until 2033, kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast via ABC.
