While it wasn’t a record day on offense Michigan has life after Saturday’s 10-3 win after No. 14 ranked Iowa, the Wolverines got the win regardless and now are on the rise in polls after the victory.
Michigan moved up in both polls this week at No. 16 in the Coaches Poll and the same spot in the AP Poll.
Here are where the Big Ten teams are ranked this week.
Big Ten in AP Poll
Ohio State - No. 3 (tied with Georgia)
Wisconsin - No. 8
Penn State- No. 10
Michigan - No. 16
Iowa- No. 17
Who lost in the AP Top-25 last week?
Six ranked teams lost and four in front of Michigan.
No. 7 Auburn vs. No. 10 Florida
No. 14 Iowa vs. No. 19 Michigan
No. 15 Washington vs. Stanford
No. 18 UCF vs. Cincinnati
No. 21 Oklahoma State vs. Texas Tech
No. 25 Michigan State vs. No. 4 Ohio State
Michigan moves on to face unranked Illinois and then potentially a top-ten Penn State team on the road. The defense is coming together, but the offense is another story. It’s still a long season but Michigan must find an identity on offense if they want to hang with the teams on their schedule.
