Michigan football is 4-1 on the year after a 10-3 victory over Iowa in Week 6. There is still almost two months of regular season football still to go, but it is never too early to take a look at the latest bowl projections.
The destination, and opponent, sort of feels the same right now. Here are what the outlets are saying about the Wolverines’ postseason destination.
247Sports: Holiday Bowl vs. Washington
“The Wolverines kept Big Ten title hopes and New Year’s Six aspirations alive on Saturday with a win over Iowa, but Michigan will need to show more than that offensively to warrant a better projection for the postseason in the coming weeks. There are several matchups vs. nationally-ranked teams upcoming and landing in San Diego for the Holiday Bowl would likely mean a 9-3 campaign (or worse).” - 247Sports

We will add more to this as more projections become available. Washington would be interesting seeing as Michigan would end 2019 against the Huskies and then open the 2020 season against them on the road. It’s way early, but everyone seems to be in lockstep on where they could be headed for now.
