2019 Michigan football spring game date and time announced

Harbaugh also teases a new FanFest event

NCAA Football: Michigan Spring Game Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

The date and time of the annual spring game has been teased by the Harbaugh’s Attack Every Day Podcast on Twitter.

According to the tweet, the spring game will be held on Saturday, April 13th at 5 pm. This will be the first spring game since 2017, as last year’s contest had to be canceled due to inclimate weather.

There will be a lot of speculation around the game this spring, as fans try to catch a glimpse of the offense’s direction under new offensive coordinator Josh Gattis.

The tweet also mentioned a possible “practice & FanFest” at the stadium the weekend before, on April 6th. This is a new event that hasn’t been held before under Jim Harbaugh. But, he’s been known to cook up exciting events to generate buzz around the program, such as the Signing of the Stars event the program held on National Signing Day.

Both of these events sound like prime recruiting events as well, giving excuses for the staff to bring up a group of prospects to watch how practices and games are run.

Now that the date is set, what are you looking to see from the team during the game? Let us know in the comments below!
