This is an important development for Winovich and shows NFL teams view him as a versatile prospect.
With Winovich’s combination of speed and strength, he could play as a 4-3 DE or as a stand-up 3-4 outside linebacker.
Winovich would likely thrive as a 3-4 OLB. His 40-yard dash time of 4.59 is elite for a linebacker and indicates he can run laterally well, which would make him a good OLB option that can cover the flat on a given down, and rush the passer on the next.
Also, Winovich said this:
Chase Winovich wants to buy his mom a car...said that it depends on where he’s drafted if it will be a Ferrari or a Camry
