— NFL Draft (@NFLDraft) April 27, 2019
The four-year starter was quite an impactful player in Ann Arbor. Winovich was a consensus All-Big Ten nominee and a second-team All-American (AFCA) in 2018, and a consensus second-team All-Big Ten nominee in 2017.
Chase was a fifth-year senior who added 18 sacks, 185 tackles, 45 tackles for loss, and three forced fumbles throughout his career at Michigan. He won the 2018 Bo Schembechler MVP Team Award for his play last season.
Off the field, Winovich will be remembered for dying his long locks orange for the ChadTough Foundation in the Outback Bowl after the 2017 season and his continued support throughout his time at Michigan.
Winovich is quick on his feet and is such a productive player off the snap. He has great hands and can finesse or bull-rush his way through the offensive line. He also has a ton of heart that he wears on his sleeve and the NFL will love his charismatic nature.
