The Michigan football team is having a blast and living their best life in South Africa.
On Tuesday the team got up at the crack of dawn and ventured into the wilderness to go on a safari!
One of the most amazing and exhilarating experiences of my life. I literally could have touched the lion out of our Jeep. Our guide had to tell @Coach_BenMcD @CoachJim4UM and I to shut up and stop moving because they were so close. Barely got these shots off #UbuntuBlue 〽️ pic.twitter.com/j2a7xjeXP7

Lions, giraffes, cheetahs, rhinos, zebras, and plenty more animals were seen by the team up close and personal. I’ve been to some of the best zoos in the United States, but I’d imagine nothing is better than seeing majestic and powerful creatures such as these in their natural habitat.
The team still has a few more days left in South Africa and we’ll keep on sharing highlights of their trip as they materialize.
