The 2019 season is just days away and many questions are about to be answered over the next few months about this program. It’s a pivotal season and looks like this could be Jim Harbaugh’s best shot yet at winning the Big Ten. Everyone is intrigued to see this new offense with new offensive coordinator Josh Gattis getting the keys from Jim Harbaugh and how Don Brown can bounce back after a couple of embarrassing defensive performances to finish last season.
Where’s your head at as a Michigan fan?
This question is what goes through each fan no matter the team at the beginning of the season.
For those who lived through the glory days with Bo Schembechler or Lloyd Carr, you’ve seen the Wolverines win big games and championships. Since Carr left, it’s been a roller coaster that seems to be going up the hill again but not yet to the top. For the younger whipper snappers born after 2000, they’ve seen very little success in big games and a lack of wins against their rivals on a consistent basis. They have seen successful seasons with double digit wins, but also some gut wrenching losses. Brady Hoke going for two in 2013 to lose by a point to Ohio State, the punt heard round the world in 2015 against Michigan State and the 2016 J.T. Barrett play on forth down in overtime.
Yes, it’s hard to type and relive these moments but that’s all in the past.
I want to know where fans are and their expectations for this season. I took this question to Twitter and 59 percen who answered think this is the year they win the Big Ten Championship.

I know many would say beating their three big rivals at home (Ohio State, Michigan State and Notre Dame) would make it a successful season regardless of where that lands them in the final College Football Playoff rankings.
What must the Wolverines do to consider this a successful season? Sound off and we count down the days!
