Josh Gattis’ first season as Michigan’s offensive coordinator has been up-and-down, to say the least, but a philosophical change to the way he approaches game days is set to take place for the showdown against Rutgers.
U-M Radio said on Saturday prior to the game that Gattis will call the offensive plays from the field against the Scarlet Knights. He had spent the first three games of the season in the coaches box overlooking the field. Now, he will be part of the face-to-face conversation with players on the field.
Will it make a difference? We will see, but the Wolverines are taking the effort to shake things up and the sense of urgency to get it figured out is high. Saturday’s game kicks off at noon on Big Ten Network.
