The Michigan Wolverines will see their running back room get a bit lighter in 2020, as senior Tru Wilson announced on Thursday that he will graduate in the spring and pursue a grad transfer opportunity elsewhere.
I appreciate everything the University of Michigan has done for me these last 4 years. I will graduate in the spring and will transfer to finish my last year of college football. God bless and Forever Go Blue 〽️ pic.twitter.com/glfsHsHeUu

Wilson, who was a local product coming out of Warren De La Salle High School, walked on to the football program, but worked his way into a productive member of the team and earned a scholarship in his time at Michigan. He ran the ball 106 times for 585 yards and two touchdowns the last two years with the Wolverines while working in a committee with some of the other tailbacks on the roster.
Michigan’s running back room in 2020 will be quite deep with sophomores Zach Charbonnet and Hassan Haskins and the returning Chris Evans presumably set to lead the way. Freshman Blake Corum and reserves Christian Turner and Ben VanSumeren may also factor into the rotation.
