Vegas odds released on Michigan’s trip to Indiana

Coming off a loss, Vegas has Michigan installed as a favorite.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL: NOV 23 Michigan at Indiana

Morale among Michigan Wolverines fan is not high after the loss to Michigan State on Saturday, but Vegas oddsmakers are not giving up on them this year. Believe it or not, heading into the showdown with the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday, Michigan is favored.

According to the opening lines posted by Vegas Insider, No. 23 Michigan opened as a two-point favorite over No. 13 Indiana with the over/under set at 53.5 points. Since the lines were posted, Michigan has already moved up to being four-point favorites.

Vegas is banking on Michigan’s history in the series against Indiana, apparently. The Wolverines have won 27-straight games against the Hoosiers dating back to the 1987 season. Michigan is 59-9 all-time against Indiana,

This will be the second consecutive year that the game between these two teams takes place at Indiana. The Big Ten fixed a scheduling quirk that had Michigan playing its rivalry games vs. MSU and Ohio State both either at home or on the road in a given season. That gave Michigan another date with MSU last Saturday at home and this matchup is the flip side of that.

Michigan and Indiana’s game kicks off at 12 p.m. from Memorial Stadium in Bloomington and will be broadcast via Fox Sports 1.
