The Michigan Wolverines are looking to start their first win streak of the season with the 0-5 Penn State Nittany Lions coming to town next weekend. Now, some of the key aspects of interest for those of us that will subject ourselves to watching it have been set.
Saturday’s game will kick off at noon from Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor and be broadcast via ABC. It will be the third noon kick of the season after back-to-back primetime games for the Wolverines.
Vegas has also weighed in on the presumptive favorite for the most hate-watched game of the slate next weekend. According to the opening line on the Vegas Insider consensus, the Wolverines have opened as a four-point favorite with the over/under set at 55.5 points scored.
Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines are 3-2 against Penn State since he arrived in Ann Arbor ahead of the 2015 season. Michigan has blown out PSU at the Big House the last two times that they have played there, but as we have seen things are much different this year with no fans in the stands. We simply will have to wait and see what happens.
Michigan is coming off of a 48-42 triple-overtime win over Rutgers that put them at 2-3 on the season, while Penn State fell to 0-5 over the weekend with a 41-21 loss to Iowa at home this past weekend.
