Black came to Ann Arbor as a four-star prospect, ranked as the No. 15 WR in the 2017 class, but injuries derailed his Michigan career. Black suffered injuries in 2017 and 2018 that led to him only playing in 9 games. In 2019, with Donovan Peoples-Jones, Nico Collins, and Ronnie Bell all ahead of Black on the depth chart, Black hauled in 25 receptions for 323 yards and a touchdown.
The 6-foot-3 receiver finishes his Michigan career with 40 receptions for 509 yards and 2 touchdowns.
