The Michigan Wolverines — as soon as they are able to hit the field again and start practicing — have a quarterback battle to figure out. This might actually wind up being the first time in the Jim Harbaugh era that a fight for the starting signal-caller spot might actually be held with multiple guys capable of getting the job done.
Add in the fact that, in year six, it is finally a shot to see a Jim Harbaugh-recruited quarterback win the job and that makes this one of the offseason’s most interesting college football storylines.
Offensive coordinator Josh Gattis has stated that there are three candidates for the job — redshirt junior Dylan McCaffrey, redshirt sophomore Joe Milton and redshirt freshman Cade McNamara. The first two figure to be where the focus of the battle lies, but all three are being given a shot to play and are all former four-star prospects.
Instead of a deep dive today, we simply extend the question to you. Who are you rooting for of the three to win the job, who do you think wins the job and what are your general thoughts on the competition? Vote in the poll here and sound off in the comments below.
