The Big Ten football season is officially back on, with the announcement from Kevin Warren and the conference coming Wednesday morning of a reborn season beginning in mid-October. That means Michigan football will once again have a shot to play at Michigan Stadium, touch the M Club banner and (maybe) win a few big games.

Michigan coaches, pundits and fans alike took to social media to share their excitement of the big news of the day, starting with the Michigan football Twitter account sharing a pretty cool graphic.

True freshman defensive back Andre Seldon Jr. also chimed in with his excitement.

Recruiting director Matt Dudek also wasn’t shy to show his feelings about the news.

Defensive back Hunter Reynolds, who has been a strong voice for Michigan football and the Big Ten over the last couple months, is obviously excited to have football back,

Quarterback Joe Milton decided to tweet at a couple of the better receivers at U-M shortly after the Big Ten announced the new season.

And Giles Jackson was quick to tweet back at him.

Defensive lineman Donovan Jeter comes in with a classic GIF.

This is simply terrifying by Northwestern head coach Pat Fitzgerald.

Then you have reactions like this, which you’ll probably see a lot more of in the coming days from people out west (sorry, PAC 12).

No, Hannah. The answer is no.
