Michigan moved up in the AP top 25 to No. 8 and to No. 7 in the USA Today Coaches Poll on Sunday, and now further projections are in after their 32-29 win at Nebraska.

In the updated ESPN Football Power Index, Michigan remains at No. 5 in the nation, and are projected to win around 10 games. ESPN gives the Wolverines a 28.3% chance of winning the Big Ten East and a 40.1% chance of making the College Football Playoff.

The only Big Ten team ranked above Michigan in the FPI is Ohio State at No. 3. The only game Michigan isn’t favored to win in the latest projections is The Game versus the Buckeyes, and their chances decreased since last week because of Ohio State’s dominating 66-17 win over Maryland.

For reference, here were the FPI percentages from last week.

Oct. 23- vs. Northwestern: 95.7% chance of winning

Oct. 30- at No. 11 Michigan State: 53% chance of winning

Nov. 6- vs. Indiana: 89% chance of winning

Nov. 13- at Penn State: 50.7% chance of winning

Nov. 20- at Maryland: 87.4% chance of winning
