It may be a bit of a stretch to say this game has “major” implications, but there is no denying there is a lot on the line for both the Michigan Wolverines and Wisconsin Badgers in today’s game.
For Michigan, it’s a chance to shut some people up by going to Madison and getting a win against a quality opponent on the road. For Wisconsin, it’s an opportunity to bounce back after a dreadful loss to Notre Dame last weekend, and an overall 1-2 start to the year.
It’s the most important game of the year for the Wolverines, and it all starts in a matter of hours. But for now, let’s get to the facts of the game.

Today’s question: Will Josh Gattis be able to come up with a game plan offensively that is a little more than running up the middle and doing dink and dunk passes? The Wolverines have hardly let Cade McNamara rip the ball down the field much this season. They will need him to do so today against the Badgers, simply because their run defense is elite. Not every run is going to go for 5+ yards today. It’s critical to balance the attack and let McNamara air it out a bit more than they have been.
