WATCH: How to handle Michigan football tidbits during the offseason

A guide for how to best handle Michigan football news throughout the off-season.

If you’re like me, you’re a bit sad that the Michigan Wolverines basketball & hockey teams are no longer in action. Spring is upon us, and football is making its way back into the limelight. With a poor 2-4 showing in 2020, fans are understandably down on Michigan’s chances this year and the overall future of the football program is on a teetering point as of now.

After many positive reports about the team heading into 2020, many people are skeptical of ANY news of the team, let alone ones of praise. Having the mindset of “I’ll believe it when I see it” seems to be a popular one amongst Michigan fans these days. Despite that, the news will continue to flow in, and we will be exposed to it in some fashion.

So how do you navigate and parse through the information? I put together 4 steps to best handle these rumblings from spring practice, and these guidelines should help make sense of news coming across your Twitter feeds. Adding appropriate context, I hope to make things a bit more bearable in what many consider to be a frustrating news cycle.
