Michigan offensive lineman Willie Allen has entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal, a program spokesperson confirmed with Maize n Brew Friday evening
The 6-foot-6, 343-pound grad transfer came to Michigan from Louisiana Tech, where he spent his last two seasons of college football and started 15 games in total. He took a redshirt year during his freshman season at LSU, then transferred to Tyler College in Texas for a year.
The transfer to Michigan was made official back in October. Allen was expected to compete for the open right tackle position, which was claimed by Andrew Stueber during spring practices. The move back to the transfer portal seems to be indicative of his placement on the depth chart.
