Which of the Michigan Wolverines 2021 recruiting class will have an immediate impact for this upcoming season. In this video, we answer that very question. There are a few names that KNOW should make it. Jim Harbaugh mentioned JJ McCarthy and Donovan Edwards at Big Ten Media Days a couple of days ago, but how much will they actually contribute and where on this list should they land?
While Donovan Edwards is a five-star running back according to 247Sports, the running back position landed as number 1 on my list of best position groups for the Michigan Wolverines headed into this season. McCarthy finds himself in a similar position, bringing a ton of talent to the room but still behind some experience with Cade McNamara leading the position. Without giving away the complete list, the defensive line, linebacker, and specialist groups allow some room for freshmen to step up immediately.
