Some people love, Michigan Football, some people love to hate them — and that combination leads to the program being one of the most watched on television.
The Athletic’s Andy Staples took a look at which teams had the most games with four million or more viewers from 2015 to 2019 — Michigan ranked at No. 3 with 26 games, only tailing Alabama (35) and Ohio State (31).

From 2015-19, 55 SEC-on-SEC games did it. 49 Big Ten-on-Big Ten games did it.
How many Pac-12 vs. Pac-12 games did it?
The starting point of this statistic was also Jim Harbaugh’s first season as Michigan’s head coach. And while there have been ebbs and flows to the Harbaugh era and no wins against Ohio State, the program and coach continue to be one of the most talked about in all of college football.
While the results on the field must become stronger it’s clear the spectacle that is Michigan’s brand remains solid. Cool uniforms, the biggest home crowd in football, winningest program in college football history, just a few things that make the masses, the casual football fan to tune into see Michigan on Saturday’s in the fall.
