Fall camp is underway for the Michigan Wolverines, which finally allows them to answer some questions and prepare for a critical season of the Jim Harbaugh era. The 2-4 campaign during the pandemic-altered season might be able to be partially written off due to a weird year, but there were a lot of issues that led to program-changing decisions.
Jim Harbaugh is back with tweaks to his offensive staff and a completely overhauled defense under new coordinator Mike Macdonald. A starting quarterback has been named in Cade McNamara despite some intriguing alternates that include a former Big 12 starter and a five-star freshman. Everything else at this point seems like an unknown heading into year seven of Harbaugh in Ann Arbor.
What this season really signifies, though, is a return to a normal college football routine. Fans will be in the stands and non-conference games are back. Is that enough to get you back on board and excited for the season? That’s where you come in.
Sound off in the comments below about your thoughts on the upcoming year now that we are officially in the nitty-gritty of the lead-up to the season.
