The 2016 cycle is in full swing, but Michigan added a big piece to its 2017 recruiting class on Saturday afternoon with the announcement that offensive lineman JaRaymond Hall (Oak Park, Michigan) has committed to the program, according to Scout's Allen Trieu.

Hall, who stands at 6-foot-5, 270 pounds, is a four-star prospect and the 30th-ranked offensive tackle in the 2017 class, according to the 247 Composite rankings.
Hall has been a Michigan lean, and near lock, for quite some time, making his recruitment more a "when, not if" scenario. He is one of the better players in the state, so it is a good get for the Wolverines keeping him close to home.
He also fills a huge need going forward. One of Michigan's key focuses for the 2017 cycle will be at offensive tackle, as they try to continue to build depth on the offensive line.
Hall is the fourth commitment of the 2017 class, joining running back Kurt Taylor, tight end Carter Dunaway and defensive back Benjamin St-Juste.
