The recruiting saga involving four-star running back Mike Weber (Detroit, Michigan) finally came to an end on National Signing Day when he announced that he will be signing with Ohio State.
The battle for Weber has been one of the biggest storylines of Michigan's 2015 recruiting class. His courtship lasted throughout the entire process and he finally committed to the Wolverines back in August 2014. When it became that Brady Hoke's staff was likely going to be relived of their duties, he opened things back up in late November.
He committed to Ohio State just 18 days after opening the process back up and has seemed firm in that commitment since then. Regardless, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh, along with running backs coach Tyrone Wheatley, have made him a huge priority, which ultimately resulted in an official visit to the school last week, according to Scout.com's Sam Webb.
Michigan received a commitment earlier this morning from running back Karan Higdon.
