Update: A brief scouting report on Brandon Peters can be found here.
Class of 2016 quarterback Brandon Peters (Avon, Indiana) has committed to play for Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines, he revealed via his Twitter account on Friday night.
Proud to say that I am officially committed to Michigan university! #Fab25 #GoBlue〽️〽️

He is a four-star prospect and the ninth-ranked pro-style quarterback in the 2016 class, per the 247 Composite.
Peters is visiting Ann Arbor this weekend for the Spring Game and his commitment seemed inevitable. He was offered back in February and Michigan immediately became the front-runner for his services.
The thought is that Michigan wanted to wait out the decision from KJ Costello before accepting a commitment from Peters, so when Costello chose Stanford it was a matter of time from there.
Peters' commitment is the first 2016 pledge for Harbaugh and the new staff. He is the third commitment overall, joining offensive tackle Erik Swenson and linebacker Dele Harding, both four-star prospects.
